Background introduction

“Chinese Ethnic Folk Dance Grade Examination Textbook” is edited by Professor Pan Zhitao, a famous Chinese dance educator, and the editorial committee is composed of more than ten experts from the Chinese Ethnic Folk Dance Department of Beijing Dance Academy. A number of experts, including Capital Normal University and the Central National Song and Dance Troupe, formed an expert committee. Taking the “scientific unity of quality education and pleasure education” as the starting point, and with the aim of “promoting the popularization and development of Chinese folk dance and meeting the needs of young people for dance learning and comprehensive development”, it enables students to train their body, body and body in the joyful dance learning. Cultivate temperament, build self-confidence and improve comprehensive quality ability. Through the understanding of dance, music and customs and culture of various regions and ethnic groups, we can experience and inherit the extensive, profound and colorful Chinese excellent national culture.

The textbook uses 56 ethnic dances as the material, and selects the most representative and typical elements of various ethnic dances to create a combination. According to the physical, psychological characteristics and perception abilities of students of different ages, the choreography is scientifically and entertaining. The teaching materials are divided into 15 levels, with strong local and national characteristics.
