課程介紹：

Xuejuan Dance Ensemble, with its non-profit affiliate Greater Washington Chinese Dance, is hosting three free Chinese dance classes at the Kennedy Center REACH Campus this summer! The three classes will cover Han ribbon dance, Dai ethnic dance, and Mongolian ethnic dance. At the end of the three classes, there will be a mini showcase featuring award winning dances.

Chinese dance is the most popular dance form being learned and performed in China today. Chinese ethnic/folk dances draw inspirations from China’s 56 ethnic groups. These ethnic dances are rich in history and culture. Come experience for yourself the beautiful art of Chinese dance in our capital’s premier performing art space.

These classes are part of the Kennedy Center’s Social Impact Program that strives to build community through art. Don’t miss the opportunity to take Chinese dance classes in one of the Kennedy Center’s new dance studios overlooking the Potomac River.
